Festival programme, 7 to 9 June 2024
Friday 7 June
Gymnase Berthe de Boissieux: opening roda from 19:00 to 20:00. The Brazilian evening continues with the group Samba Noble at Beer Square, 5 esplanade Andry-Farcy.
Saturday 8 June — La Correspondance
Venue for Saturday and Sunday’s classes: La Correspondance, 30 bis avenue Marcelin Berthelot, Grenoble.
Children’s programme
- 13:00: welcome for participants.
- 13:30–16:30: capoeira classes.
- 16:30: batizado and troca de cordão.
- 17:30: afternoon activities end.
Adults’ programme
- 9:00: welcome for participants.
- 9:30: capoeira classes.
- 11:00: samba class.
- 12:30: meal break.
- 13:30: classes resume.
- 16:30: batizado and troca de cordão.
- 18:00: the day’s activities end.
Brazilian evening
Shared meal, followed by an evening at Minimistan, cour Marcel Reymond, rue des Minimes.
- 18:00–21:00: live samba music, concert by Maria Luma and quadrilha.
- 21:30: introduction to forró.
- 22:00–midnight: evening with a DJ set.
Sunday 9 June — La Correspondance
- 9:30: welcome for participants.
- 10:00: capoeira workshops and roda.
- 13:00: event ends.
